Things to remember
Reading, hearing Bhagavatam sincerely gives Krishna prema.
If you have Krishna prema you can surrender to Krishna.
If you serve a mahatma you can follow the instructions of surrender.
If you associate with "asat" you will not be able to follow instructions.
You must be Krishna Conscious 24 hours.
You must be humble and tolerant - otherwise you will lose your bhakti.
Everyone else is serving Krishna - only you are not doing so - thus you are most condemned.
Only by the mercy of Guru and Krishna one receives the seed of devotional service. This is very rare, and one should protect and safeguard this jewel with ones life.
One who has not served a Mahatma, will never be attracted to devotional activities like reading, hearing and chanting.

One must guard against misconceptions which are caused by illusion.
One must know that a person who is not Krishna Conscious has no good qualities, although they might seem very charming. They are like snakes, envious and dangerous.

If you love Mahaprabhu, don't speak about anything other than Krishna, don't think of anyone else other than Krishna.
The mind will always tell you to hope against hope.
The mind will always try to insert pride. Reject it immediately.
The mind will always try to make you enjoy the world with your senses, sleep and eat.
You are a very, very, very small spirit soul - compared to the number of souls and universes and to Krishna, you are very insignificant. But because in your mind you are the most important person, thus in your life you consider your body as the most important thing or person. You cannot understand the big picture, and are only obsessed with your own self.
When Krishna gives you direct attention you ought to feel overwhelmed, because you're so tiny and easily unnoticed. Its a very very big thing for you to receive His favor, or the favor of His devotees.
