All that is troublesome to the heart - anarthas.

These anarthas are removed by Lord Nityananda within a short span of a few days, provided we take shelter of the Holy Name completely, in all humility, begging for help to give up these anarthas. Chanting all day and at all times eventually helps us get the mercy of the Holy Name and give up all anarthas forever. They are destroyed forever and never enter our hearts again.

May I be able to give up all that is troublesome to my heart by rightly begging Naam Prabhu to kindly destroy these anarthas in my heart.

Happiness Formula for Madhyama Adhikari 4.11.13

titikṣayā karuṇayā
 maitryā cākhila-jantuṣu
samatvena ca sarvātmā
 bhagavān samprasīdati

The Lord is very satisfied with His devotee when the devotee greets other people with tolerance, mercy, friendship and equality.

It is the duty of an advanced devotee in the second stage of devotional perfection to act in accordance with this verse.

Tolerate envious behavior
Be merciful to ignorant innocent people
Be friends with those with same advancement
See all living entities as a spirit soul


Because we are consciousness, we must know how to behave with other conscious entities. How to deal with matter we know, it involves no compassion or tolerance. But the main thing we need to learn is how to behave with others. This is the key to pleasing Krishna. Unless we establish proper relationships with others, we are unable to really please Krishna.
