Power

I think when I resume the power that I have externalized and realize that it is internal, then my irresponsible actions will reduce drastically. I will be able to take responsible action, knowing that I have full control on my actions.

This is as opposed to acting irresponsibly with the excuse that "I don't ahve control over it", "I'm helpless."

The truth is that we are not helpless. We have power, and it is all within us. We simply lose it due to certain incidents.

When we are controlled by another person, and we cannot protect our boundaries, we become hurt. This wound causes us to allow others to control us using that gap or wound in us, and we literally have a board hung around our necks, inviting dominating tribes to come rule over us.

The wound causes not only others to dominate us, but to recover from this loss of power, we in-turn search for others weaker than ourselves so that we can dominate them and recover this lost power.

Another side effect is that the wound loses much energy, and to compensate for the energy loss we use addictions that make us "feel good" so that we can forget the pain temporarily. This causes part of us to become "Out of control."

So allowing others to dominate us eventually leads to dominating others and being out of control in some areas.

Healing occurs when we internalize our power, reclaim it as our own, stop dominating, and stop allowing others to dominate. Then we are able to become "response" "able" and responsible.

This empowers us and helps us move to higher levels of truth.

Religion can be a means of avoiding reality

Most humans, despite lack of love, and despite downright brutality, survive. They do so by being able to put reality one or two, or more paces away from consciousness. Races which have successfully lived in the most awful environments and despite constant stress and deprivation have survived with the help of their religion. Like with the Israelites, the greatest survival factor was their religion, which performed the above function perfectly.

Consciousness; to be aware, as man is aware; is a most awful agony, and a great splendour.

In stripping off the protective layers we needed to survive, gradually we come to that point where we face without protection the immensity of uncertainty and vulnerability only a human consciousness can know, and we see too that we are life, which despite its blind unknowing struggle, despite forever not knowing what it is, despite its vulnerability, has survived all defeat, and knows its very essence in you. When that happens, life, in man, stands alone yet with its unimaginable depths and heights of feeling bared. All the symbols have been removed. Life knows itself in man - man knows itself in Life

Anartha

Redundance is sometimes useful to create meaning out of meaninglessness, and sometimes, its just not required because it over complicates.

Anartha literally means useless.

I think this list sums up what probably will be my path:
1. Realising my addictions and getting rid of root causes, part hurts and angers to remove addictions.
2. Realising my need to control or need to be controlled and overcoming it.
3. Realising my ego's constant battle against truth to maintain my separate identity and security in this racing world.
4. Realising my ego's need to criticise and minimise others to feel better about myself.
5. Realising the same about others and watching out for any problems they may create for me.
